Larapinta Trail Trek Support (LTTS) provides satellite phone rental options for your trek. We also provide basic and technical advice, guidance and training for satellite phone use and application on the Larapinta Trail and offtrack for resupply, tracking, emergency management and safety.

  • Call connection charge: $0.50c

  • Calls made to a fixed or mobile service within Australia, or made to another Telstra Mobile Satellite service located within, or outside Australia (per 30 seconds): $1.50c

  • Calls made to a fixed or mobile service located outside Australia (per 30 seconds): $1.75c

  • Calls made to a fixed or mobile service within Australia, or made to another Telstra Mobile Satellite service located within, or outside Australia (per 30 seconds): $1.175c

  • Incoming calls diverted directly to, or retrieved from, a Telstra MessageBank® or Telstra Memo® service within Australia (per 30 seconds): $1.20

  • SMS - 160 character per message:  $1.10c 

  • Calls to another satellite service outside of Iridium will be charged at $20 per minute

  • All incoming calls and SMS received by the satellite phone user are free

  • Dial up data charges: Charged at the same rate as a voice call, (Connection charge and per 30 seconds or part thereof).
