HELI-SUPPORT FOR HIKING AND TREKKING
Heli-support is an essential component for many remote area cross-country trekking across Central Australia. Access to remote areas is difficult or inaccessible by road and in almost all instances, cross country treks will be dependent on aerial-based
food and water resupply caches. It's not cheap either.

If you want to get started on the Larapinta Trail in style, a heli-transfer option is the way to go. A heli-transfer is possible to/from all sections of the Larapinta Trail. Prices vary and there may be restrictions on passenger numbers, landing sites and gear weight/sizes.

Heli-based food, equipment and water drops and resupply options are available. In most instances heli-resupplies are used for time sensitive emergencies for group or corporate based activities on the Larapinta Trail.

Key to any off track trekking in Central Australia is having the option of resupply, namely water resup. Resupplies can be carried our on pre-designated timings, on request or through the use of pre-placed caches.

We also offer Iridium supported satellite linked CCTV, anti-tampering and tracking for all remote caches.
