Only 20% of our services are delivered on the Larapinta Trail. LTTS operates across Australia, providing trek support services, training, trekking expeditions, search and rescue services and undertaking trail development projects.
SPECIALISED SERVICES
Search and Rescue (SAR)
Our Search and Rescue (SAR) service provides rapid response taskings on the Larapinta Trail, deploying specialist field teams equipped with advanced IR/thermal UAVs, drones, helicopters, and 4WDs to support operations in remote terrain. We are the only SAR provider with a dedicated focus on night operations, ensuring effective response capabilities under all conditions.
TREKS
Cross Country Trekking / Trek Led
We operate trek expeditions across some of Australia's most remote and spectacular areas which includes the Kimberley and Wet Tropics. These expeditions are trek led and are not tours. They are not suitable for inexperienced hikers. Treks are groups of no more than seven hikers ( 5 hikers, 1 Trek Leader and 1 Trek Paramedic). There is an EOI process for these hikes and are limited in availability. Treks are booked until 2027.

SPECIALISED SERVICES
Trail Medical Support (TMS) & CASEVAC
We provide baseline trail medical support (TMS) services on the Larapinta Trail to deliver first aid, preventative trail health care (PTHC), casualty monitoring, psychological support and trail evacuations. We also provide support services for complex medical evacuations, incident and site management in support of Pri1 and 2 medical care and evcuations.
TRAIL INFORMATION
Mapping, GIS, Imagery & Gen Info
Our trail information and management service provides comprehensive support for trail planning, safety, risk assessment, and infrastructure management through advanced mapping, geospatial data analysis, and aerial surveying. Utilising industry-leading software and UAV/drone-equipped field teams, we collect high-resolution data to support trail monitoring, emergency response planning, and infrastructure maintenance.
TRAINING & SKILLS DEV
Training / Skills Dev / Scenario Training
We offer a wide range of basic, advanced and specialised hiking and specialised field skills training courses across Australia. Our courses are hands-on, practical based and are delivered on-site by experienced professionals.​ Courses cover hiking, cross country trekking, hiker safety, hiker self defence, emergency signalling and comms, caching, survival and navigation.

Exclusive VIP and Corporate Trek Services
Our VIP, corporate, and ministerial clients can access bespoke, luxury-based treks and glamping experiences in some of Australia's most stunning and remote destinations. Designed to be 100% exclusive, discreet, and low-profile, these services offer a highly personalised experience tailored to the unique needs of each client.
